ok so yesterday i went to the doctor and he recomended me some meds. so you know usually they just give the perscription and then get it filled at the pharmacy, well not this time. this time they made me take a frickn pregnancy test and im only 14 almost 15. basically the doc said if i had a baby while i was on it, it would be all deformed and stuff, so i had to take this test and another one in a month b4 i can get my meds, which are only for acne!!!
I think it's a good thing they make people do those test b4 giving them meds, but to me i think it's sad they have to make sure that a 14 year old girl isnt pregers. just the fact that kids do it that young even younger is stupid to me. i know i wouldnt want to be a teen mom i dont know why other girls would want to risk it. and the babies i feel the worst for since they dont always get the care and support they deserve.
personally i dont plan on having sex till im married it's just a moral thing to me. i just think it's kinda pathetic that i have to be tested that im not pregnant and that an adult cant trust me when i say im not. sorry if i offended anyone it's just my opinion, and i wanted to get it out there.
Thanks for asking...we are doing good. We have been battling pnuemonia since last Fall. We missed one RJA show because of it but were well enough to catch the shows last week in Tallahassee and Atlanta.
lol yeah that would be easier, and a lot less embarrasing. it was so occward walking through the waiting room to the bathroom w/ a preg test, i felt so dirty even though i didnt do anything.
yup it's good theyre trying to take care of some of these issues. Jw is ur kid alright?
You'd think they'd just keep a polygraph machine hooked up. Seems like it'd be cheaper and wouldn't delay the start of the meds. I think they are overly cautious because of lawsuits. It's sad when the world has come to this.
On a brighter note...my kid and I have made several trips to the ER recently and one of the questions they ask in the triage screening is, "Do you feel safe in your current environment?". Seemed weird at first, but it's nice to know that maybe a few domestic issues might be taken care of because someone took the time to ask. Most people don't just come forward with that type of stuff.
