Urgent Prayer Request

So as some of you may know i've been pretty much in love with LIGHTS for awhile now, if you don't know who LIGHTS is, she's a musician from Toronto.

Anyways, earlier today one of my fellow lightsies was on the way to a LIGHTS concert, and on the way she was mugged, and beaten and ended up with two broken wrists, and a fractured ribcage.

She's in the hospital right now, and I think every prayer/positive thought could help.

thanks guys.. she actually got home last night, and was quite overwhelmed by our love and support, but is overall ok. = )

k guys, so update.
over the past few days there's been a combination of supportive people and haters.

i'm gonna do myself a favor and repost her post.
keep in mind this post is in with a few other posts talking about her experience with a number of LIGHTS concerts.

The next day I found out that I had won tickets to the show!! And was super stoked and set about organising my 6 hr return journey back to London! This is where my story becomes familiar to you all, some people on twitter have been asking me details about it, so I'll just briefly explain. Basically my train stopped just outside of london and i decided to walk because it was only one stop, it was about 1pm so it was bright sunlight, um i was on a dodgy road and I guess I got punched and went unconscious, I dont remember anything really about it, and I woke up 5/6 hours later. During that time I guess you all found out through my friend S_KT, and you showed me overpowering support and love, and you were so creative and lovely and just wow, it was amazing to see. If I'd have known sooner I'd have shown more appreciation at the time, but I didnt have internet (plus i was unconscious!) Someone gave JtB my phone number, and I did indeed receive a call from Lights where she was super supportive and yet equally angry at what had happened, it was amazing, however, I don't really remember it at all! I was on a lot of painkillers! As far as why the attack, I'm guessing just for the contents of my bag. I didnt have a lot of money on me maybe £40/$60 but my cards and everything were in my wallet (which btw was my favorite WonderWoman Signed by Lights wallet!) and my ipod and my camera, they were all taken. The damage was basically some upper body bruising, 4 fractured ribs and a twisted wrist which yes is indeed very painful! Seeing your support and feeling the strength of LightsArmy behind me kept me driven to Cardiff which was the next day (last night!) At the moment I'm just trying to remain positive and not let this affect me at all, I believe everything happens for a reason and you know even if I don't ever find out what the reason was, I'm sure one was there. It's hard, and its mentally as well as physically demanding, but I'm getting there, and again you guys' support has been a true help.

she's still in a lot of pain, but finally resting. please keep praying, she definitely needs it. ♥

so uh, more bad news.. on thursday one of our lightsies passed away.
his name was tyler haase, and afaik he was 17.
we're all pretty shaken up by this .. after everything that happened earlier this week with emily, a death in the family is the last thing we needed.
anyways, if you could pray for his family, and if you have a few extra prayers.. pray for us, coz we're all standing on pretty shaky ground atm. :/
