5 song without Ronnie's scram...
why??
Do you miss it or no?
I hope that in the others song will be some screamo: i love it!!
Yes I do miss it:/ I love when the songs are screamo but I guess they've gone a new direction on this album and well I still love them no matter what:]
eh i really dont like screamo songs, so i like it better this way. plus too you have to consider that they did a lot of touring for DYFI and all that screaming puts strain on a person's voice. maybe ronnie just wanted to give his voice a break on this record. this way he wont end up like lacey from flyleaf. (flyleaf screams alot and lacey ended up have to have surgery on her vocal chords)
Um... I don't get it, I mean he never really was a big screamer... I mean the only songs he REALLY screamed in off of DYFI were Justify, In Fates Hands and Grim Goodbye. I hear just as much screaming in these songs :P. And even if I'm completely off target, don't worry. He still screams his' ass off live :) Hahah, I can assure you it's not going anywhere.
~Nick :)
yes he will definitely be adding screaming to songs live, from what ive found out since ive liked them they release songs to everyone with minimal screaming...like face down....no screaming....but live and the original version ...tons of screaming... but to answer your question i do miss it and hopfefully theres a song as GREAT as the grim goodbye on the new cd.
You know, I wouldn't have agreed with you Vince if I HADN'T heardany of their new stuff; now i totally do =]
And... Sorry to break it to you guys, but Grim Gooodbye is completely and utterly irreplacable. If they can pull something quite as spectacular off AGAIN, I think I'll just sell all my belongings and become a traveling monk for RJA, preaching their lyrics.
~Nick :D
yeah i miss it too.... the screamo helped me though a lot of tough times especially the one in grim goodbye and misery loves its company.... but you know what...their the lyrics still hold the social relevance....the reality.... the music might be slow and without the screamo but the esssence of rja is still there.....
