filipino ties...binds

so i was watching tv the other day...which is wierd cuz i dont watch that much tv anymore cuz i dedicated myself to radio and computers...(yes youtube),i saw this show called "wowowee"(and to all filipinos reading this blog, dont even start with the network war thing) anywho, moving on, so i saw that show...they had this segment where the contestants give the title of the song and sing it so they can qualify for the next round...(yea, nothing new) but heres the thing...the contestants were Kids...and not just any kids...they are kids whos parents gather garbage and scraps just so they can get through the daily basis... Imagin that, ur mom and dad picks garbage so that u can eat later in the evening... And while the host was interviewing the kids... random persons in the audience walks up to the stage and started giving cash straight from their pockets... and THERE!! RIGHT THERE!!! i felt (well not only me...but also my mom and dad) like...we should be there giving help as well..even tho were not that blessed with money...cuz seriously... u can see the kids wearing tattered clothes whilst playing.(in the contest)

bottom line... i guess filipinos have this unique thing within us that when another filipino needs help...we just cant say no...even if we have to burn our last pocket money... and i guess this is the reason why filipinos tend to be family oriented... always aiming for people power... cuz in the states, its always..."you can reach your dreams if u work hard enough" in the big P.I. its "lets help each other reach those dreams" kinda thing...

filipino families...dontcha wish u had one? :D

Wowowee is good but the host sucks. He yells all the time and it's quite irritating.
