POETRY: The Rose.....a poem I wrote for "My Guardian Angel" Years ago.

The Rose

A weathered rose petal

gently crumbles to the ground

The rose questions why

her quench of thirst was never found

The wind viciously blows

each fragmented piece away

He collapses with such exhaustion

as he takes his last breath for the day

The sunset comforts her

bright colors in the western sky

And yet as the rose parts with each fragile piece

Walking through this rainy day,

Raindrops dripping on my head.

you c there is this guy i like, i asked him out and he said maybe. i told my friend on my bus (which was a bad idea) cause cody (the boy i i like) also rides my bus. so she gets the idea to yell out loud "hey cody say yes to emily" since she did that cody said no. and now im sad.

It's quiet and the cold night has settled in

The rain has stopped and it's late now, you should be home from work soon
I can hear the cars go by the house
It's quiet and the little ceramic heater goes off and on every now and then
It's dark outside, and the porch light shines through the blinds
If you look out the window you see dark green tree's standing tall
