This Holiday

This Holiday...you will probably be in contact with, or see, many relatives that you are not as familiar with anymore, or don't know at all. Usually, I would call these the "Special Occasion" friends and family. Since I was five, I've had an entire half of my family I only saw at funerals, literally....only funerals. At these times, it is never appropriate to catch up, so we never seem to stay in touch. It is not that we do not love or like each other, it's soley because of the fact all of our… Continue

Innocence

Young children are bound to think in the simplest form. Their innocence is what keeps the Earth turning. They need not be pulled by the harsh realities of today until they are face-to-face with them or have interest in knowing. I would know, once being a child who knew more than she wanted to, that there are times for seriousness and also times for playful innocence. This Christmas, please be inclined to incorporate your own child- at- heart into your time spent with younger friends and family.… Continue

Anew ( My Song )

Trees of green turn to white. When the break of day feels like night. The time is arising when we'll have to stand all as one, hand in hand. We'll learn to love and see each other in a whole new light. Hate is replaced with peace tonight.

(chorus) We are the generation, gonna be the ones to make a difference. We know what's wrong and what's right. We learn from seeing our friends fight...and our enemies lie...

A child with a grenade perched in his hand. His leader tells… Continue

untitled song

This is a song I wrote a few months ago. Hope you like it ( :

I hear a noise. Breaking glass. Something is taking over fast. Bleeding, screaming, decieving. Why can't they just get along? Is this really where I belong? I've tried to confront them, but they just won't listen. The fighting and hurting is something I won't be missing...

(Chorus): I cry out loud! To the dead of night, weeping in fear. Nobody's there to dry my tears. I've figured out a way to get out of here,… Continue

Intolerance

This was brought on by a discussion we had in my history class today...

Why are people so intolerant of others? I mean, it has been going on a long time, but that doesn't mean that we just have to get used to it. Every day, I hear it in my high school and, I'm willing to bet everyone's heard it in their school or office, too. People being disrespectful towards other's opinions, appearance, ethnicity, religion, or their personality. The truth is: all these things make us who we are, not in… Continue

Stillness is beautiful. Living in the moment. No matter what happened before or what happens next, for now, we are at ease. These moments are something to live for. Believing things will, in fact, get better. Breathing air that has the power to behold something great. Slow breeze to explain that the earth is still alive. Busybodies of today have a lot to learn. Change is evident in any setting. People change their minds more often than they change their clothes. Not a day in existence has…

life's too short

okay. so i was thinking deep and this came to my mind: why are people today so wrapped up in issues that, when you think of it, hardly matter to the world and its people's well- being at all. i mean, life is waay too short to be thinking about celebrity drama, worrying about what you look like to please other people, or holding grudges against people for hardly anything. This is not what life comes down to. there are more important things like: love, inner… Continue

Bye Mom

Well, i just had a really bad fallout with my mom over the phone. My dad is dragging her under with child support. She lives in Delaware, so we don't see eachother alot. Anyway, she just kind of disowned me. She says its my fault that she hurts so much. She told me not to call her ever and she doesn't want to even know me anymore. Talk about a huge slap in the face...So anyone who has lost a parent or never knew your mom or dad: my heart goes out to you.
