What's your best RJA video and why?

Well, I love all their videos but the best video for me is definitely "Your Guardian Angel"... Would you agree? I mean even the video was shown quite awhile now but its still gives me the goosebumps everytime I see it, like a cold winter-piratey feeling in a mysterious kind of way. It's like a modern old version of shakespearean musical (with the outfits and everything.lol). In short, I just love it and everybody else in it. RJA absolutely RULEZ!=)

what do you mean by "any person that gets abused will never leave the one they love?"
cuz that's the exact opposite of what I get out of the song...
to me it's a ballad of empowerment....telling the girl that she can do better and she DESERVES better....and then "i finally had enough."
She realized you can't change a man and she left....she was strong enough to leave him as she's FACE DOWN in the dirt. Ah, yeah. That is an amazing song, I've got to hand it to Ronnie on this one....the lyrics all flawless and the message is perfectly clear, and unlike many other songs, it actually gets through to you.

As i have heard, "face down" was based on Ronnie's parents, his mom was treated unrespectfully or probably abused by his dad... I dunno, just correct me if I'm wrong. But I agree, it's like telling the man that "eat your dust dude coz she has found a better life while you're ending up more miserable than you already are."

Sorry if I disagree to your comment in overall though, but on the contrary to that the first stanza of the song does embodies how the woman stays around maybe for a definite reason but the point is that she never did stayed and put up with the man's wrong doings... good for her right? =)

Well yeah that's what I was saying. My dispute was on the "any person that gets abused" part....that's just completely and totally not how I interpret the song. I mean...after all...at the end she DIDN'T stay with him.

nah i fink u got wt i said da wrng way... what i was tryin 2 say is some ppl feel that the person that abuses them really does love them... like my mom and dad fyt all da tym and my dad abused my mom 4 17 years and still she will not leave him... and even in the end if they do leave it takes a while coz they are scared... and wer i said neva leave and fake it and say ntn is wrng i quoted on "cover up wif make up in the mirror tell urself its neva gna happen again u cry alone and then he swears he loves u..."
and it takes alot of power 2 leave the person u love even tho they abuse u...

Well everyone interprets songs differently, and obviously coming from an abusive home this song would ring more true to you than to someone like me who's aware of the things going on but has never witnessed it. Either way....I'm pretty sure I understand what you meant now.
