So far the tour has been awesome. The acoustic sets sound incredible, and the band sure is enjoying the full out college shows in between dates on the Unplugged and Unaffected Tour. I'm just getting over a cold myself - I always catch one when we come to the North East! - and everybody else is either catching it or halfway through the same sickness. I think everyone will be well by the time we're in the wonderful Florida sun again.
Today is a day off in Columbia, SC and with not much to do in the town the band and crew are bouncing off the bus walls. Ronnie is reading another StarWars novel in the driver's seat; it seems to be the quietest place on the bus other than a bunk, but you can only spend so much time a day in such a small space.
Regardless of how well the tour is going, I'm still mostly looking forward to spending a few nights at home in my own bed. Hopefully we'll get to bring the dogs along for the last few days of the tour. I think Zoe would love to tag along.
