Short History of my addiction

I Played bass in a metal band for about 6 years. I started playing bass before my drug abuse began. Unfortunitly my band could'nt put up with my oxy abuse and voted me out. It broke my heart that i had lost the one thing in my life that i truly loved. Then my son was born 6/1/06, and i checked myself into the methadone clinic which gave me two years of sobrity. The methadone destroyed my liver down too only 50% functionabilty, gave me chronic kidney disease, Destroyed my teeth, and me sicker… Continue

I have spent the last ten years in the grip of addiction. It ruled my life to the point of loosing everything i had. My son, my wife, my house, my band, all my possesions. I went from being a machinist making $40,000 a year, to living on the streets begging for money so i could go get my next high. Oxycontin was my choice drug, but has the price began to skyrocket i started using crystal meth. Then i needed both drugs or i would withdraw.
