I met Ronnie! (Manchester Roadhouse, May 18th, 2008)

So, I went to see the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on Sunday 18th May, (with Kill the Arcade and Sherwood) along with my fiancée and my friend Mike. The gig was awesome, and Ronnie said he'd be staying after the gig to talk to people. So we waited, and finally got to talk to him! We spoke about our girlfriends and "Your Guadian Angel" as he told us he wrote it about his wife, which was nice. Then we got our concert tickets signed, and our picture taken with him. We spoke about video games, and Ronnie has challenged me to a race on Mario Kart Wii, so I'm going to show him how it's done xD. He also sang "Your Guardian Angel" to me and my fiancée, which was sooo nice of him! I love you man, you're the best. Thank you for a wonderful time.

i went to the manchester show as well, it was my first RJA show and i must say it was the best concert i have been to in my life!
the venue was great, they all seemed like really nice guys, i was amazed how long ronnie can scream sounded so much better than what ive seen on youtube. the only bad thing i can say is i would have loved to see atrophy and cat& mouse, but maybe next time! i nearly met ronnie after show, i saw him sat at bar but he was talking to someone else and we had to rush off home:(
i am getting married in aug and we were always having your guardian angel played, but i bought the acoustic cd at the show and i love that version even more!

Yeah, they're all amazing. It's so nice of them to actually spend some extra time with their fans after the concert. They did play two Acoustic songs, no prizes for guessing which :P lol. But this was their first time in the United Kingdom, so it was obvious they'd do a regular tour first. (I hope it's not their last even though Ronnie doesn't like flying!) I do love all their Acoustic versions, but I think I prefer more of the regular versions to be honest. Sorry to here about your gram, and I watched your YGA video, sorry to hear about everything and I hope you're fine now!

I hope they come back to see us in England really soon! My fiancé spoke to their manager after the concert too, he said they're starting work on the next album and hopefully recording their next single when they get back home, so I'm looking forward to that!

Sounds similar to an experience that me and my friend had, we went to see RJA on the 16th in Southampton and waited around to meet them afterwards, we had a chat to Ronnie and Elias. got some stuff signed. They're such nice people. A guy we were standing next to was wearing an All Time Low t-shirt and me and ronnie started singing "dear Maria". It was awesome.

That was lucky....I met someone in Birmingham that had missed thetrain home and they lived in Derby so were having to sleep in the train station.

Lol. Yeh, I made sure I didn't miss any though :) Anything was worth it, even the fact that all the busses had stopped running by the time we got out, and I had no pennies left so was stuck in town for ages. Luckily my fiancés sister works in Rileys so we got some cash back there, for a taxi. It was £13 to get home, but I didn't really care lol.

Well much as I do like my drink I didn't want to have any in case I needed the toilet and didn't want to miss anything....I was right at the front in front of Ronnie. So apart from me going mental I was getting crushed too, but it was totally worth it.
