story nr. 1
Scary (short)story
for children
( it's not scary )
btw it almost made some of the girls in my class cry !

Once upon a time there was a boy. and his name was Kevin. he was born on May 13th and was the first born to his parents. they loved him very much. when Kevin was only 7 years old he fell down from a high rise and died. his parents were devastated and did not find much joy in their life after that. But then, 5 years after Kevin's death, they had another son. he was the most beautiful boy in the whole world. they loved him with every part of the love they had left. For 3 years they never spoke a word about Kevin. Kevin was now an angel in heaven, watching over his parents and his little brother. He too loved that little boy who was given the name Julian. Julian was joyful and was smiling all the time. even when he was hungry or tired he still smiled. His parents were happy again. But in heaven, Kevin was not. He thought his parents had forgotten about him and didn't love his lost soul anymore. and when Kevin felt unloved he could not find the feeling of love. he only felt anger and disappointment. and he blamed Julian for that. since Julian's birth they never mentioned Kevin, they only thought about Julian and only loved him. Kevin felt so angry he wanted to kill Julian, so his parents would lose his love, just like he thought he had lost theirs. So, on May 12th Kevin returned to earth, as a ghost. He flew to his old house and circled it a few times to find a way in. he found his parents room, but they were not in there. he thought they would be asleep, it was just passed midnight. that was strange. He opened the window and flew inside. he flew around the house, looking for Julian's room. When he found it he flew straight to his bed. Julian looked so peaceful and beautiful as he slept, like he was in a world where no one could harm him and where no evil existed.,You will soon find a place like that little brother' Kevin whispered. He grabbed a pillow and laid it on Julian's face. His hands were only inches away from the pillow when he heard something. i quiet, soft sob. he dropped the pillow off of Julian's face and moved closer to the sound. it was his mother, crying. he flew closer and found her in his old bedroom, sitting on his bed and his father with his arms around her. the only light in the room was a small candle on the night stand next too the bed. Kevin did not need more light to see that his room was exactly the same as it was when he was alive. Kevin saw his mother was holding something. he moved closer and saw that it was a picture of him and his parents.,Happy Birthday Kevin' his father whispered. Tears filled his eyes as he took the picture in his hand. His mother ran her fingers over the picture and shed a tear on it. she took it in her hands and held it against her chest. Kevin now felt a brand new feeling. he felt pain, for his mother and father, along with regret and guilt. he wished he could hug his mother and tell her he was okay. he was happy in heaven and that he would always be with her. he moved closer to her and put his hand on her cheek. he felt her lay her head in his palm. she sighed and whispered, i love you Kevin' and then closed her eyes. Kevin's father laid her down in the bed and they fell asleep. Kevin no longer doubted his parents love for him. he saw it in their eyes and felt it in their hearts. his lost soul now felt loved and Kevin was carried with the wind to heaven were he would stay and watch over his parents, who he could love once more.
The End.
