I have no idea why, but I love reading quotes! For some reason...someone's couple of words can hold so much power to turn your sad day into a happy day, can make you wonder about life, or just make you smile.
Here are some of my favourite...share yours :D

~~~Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened-Dr.Seuss
~~~You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams-Dr.Seuss
~~~An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.-Benjamin Franklin
~~~Hollywood is a place where they'll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and fifty cents for your soul.-Marilyn Monroe

Didi Conn as Laurie Robinson in the movie You Light Up My Life (1977): "I learned something today, Pop. It was really painful, but I learned something. I learned that I have to depend on myself. I can't depend on anybody else and that's ok. You know why? Because I'm a really good person to depend on. Maybe I don't have someone that I thought I loved a lot really, but that's ok because I've got me. And I've got my work. And I've got my music. And I love that - more than anything else on this earth. "
Okay. It's a sappy movie but that speech made a lasting impression on this 15 year old. I can't find the exact quote but another standout line went something like....
"It takes someone really special to help you get over someone really special."
And on a lighter note...I was watching I Love Lucy the other day and she gave this quote that made me instantly go write it down cause although it was said in the 50's it rings true today.
Lucille Ball as Lucy Ricardo on I Love Lucy: Glamour today is just a tight skirt, loose hips, and wet lips!"
