The dreaded first day of school; it was even more so for me. By now everyone would have heard of the accident. I ruined my life and I ended someone elses. I will pass through the halls of Robertson High with my head down ignoring the stares and whispers that will linger in the air behind me. I will sit in class in front of a teacher that will punish me every day of the school year because she will take into her hands what the court failed to do. I wish I could take back what happened,I lost the one person that meant the world to me, and it was my fault. My name is Aria and my dad had just accepted a new job over in Georgia working on a base so of course my entire life was altered and we moved from California, my home. I had been getting into trouble, the regular stuff like: skipping class, smoking, hanging out with the wrong kids. My dad seeing that it was only him and I didn't pay too much attention to me so I took the liberty to do what I pleased. I yelled and screamed at him for ruining my life, for moving me around like a ragdoll. He told me it would be better for us both if we got away from the city..Yeah right. So I was the new kid in school, the misfit that didn't belong here. I'd sit alone at lunch and throw back the dirty stares that were given to me but one day a guy sat down next to me. I was about to yell at him for invading my space and screwing up my routine but I looked at him and this is cliche but the world stopped. I could tell right away that he wasn't like these other losers and boy was I happy. He looked like a greek god; long blonde hair, insane muscles..just my type. "Hey hope you don't mind if I sit here with you, you looked like you could use a friend". Normally I would be defensive but I nodded in his direction just to give the impression that I didn't care for his presence. He laughed. "Well my name is Adrian I assume you would be Aria right"? No need to wonder how he found out my name this school is as big as my old house. "Yep" I said. He grinned " I can tell we're going to get along great!" We did, we became more than friends actually and it was the best few months of my life. The night things went down hill was at this party a friend was having. I had got a little drunk and Adrian was wasted, I thought I could drive home. I slammed into a tree halfway there. Adrian flew out of the window, he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. He's dead..I'm not...
