I've learned pretty fast not to expect things, and just accept them. Of course there are obvious exceptions but mostly you just have to take what's thrown at you and deal with it. People are going to do what they're going to do, and things are going to happen if they're going to happen.
Life is shit most of the time, but you find ways of making it work, and it finds ways of molding you into a stronger person, so everything kind of balences out
