RJA's Gift

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has a gift of influencing people all around the world. I'm sure you'll agree that you have received something special from them, because you are here supporting them. I just wanted to share what they have shared with me.
RJA has given me hope, power, strength, a reason to head-bang, and a keener sense for life. Their lyrics inspire me to create something on my own, from my heart, from what I know, and they've helped me relate my experiences to most of their songs. They have shared deep feelings that I will always have in my mind. Whenever I talk to someone, about 90% of the time I bring up this question: Do you know who the red jumpsuit apparatus is? And when they respond no....I always say: Here, listen. And that's where i pull out my headphones and make them listen to a song. Haha, so I wanted to know what RJA has done for you. If you'd like to share. :)

There have been days when I just couldn't handle everything and I'd just flip in my cds and listen. It's amazing how much better it can make you feel, and the fact that they're relatable means that you're not alone in it. I try to bring them up and show people as much as possible, and it's amazing how everybody can just sit there singing to it all night long. Permalink Reply by kanela on October 2, 2009 at 6:24am: oh man....RJA.....it's just the most amazing band. when you need a pick me up, you just play whichever song fits your mood (and it's great that they have such a wide variety of songs, from Grim Goodbye to Godspeed) and you really feel whatever emotion running inside of you melting away. what they have done for me, i can't tell you how immense it is. there's so many times they've pulled me back from the edge, and gave me a reason to hope, a reason to believe that i can get out of my situation, and to some extent, they're my hope that not men are complete bastards. everyone abuses the words "i love you"...they say it for every and anything. without meaning it. but i'm pretty sure that when any of us says "i love RJA" we all mean it, or else we wouldn't be here......; ▶ Reply to This
