Favorite RJA Song and Why?

Hey guys,

Just wondering what everyones favorite RJA song is and why.

 

Mine will always be Grim Goodbye. I think the lyrics themselves are absolutely amazing. Also, I think the music composition itself is genius. It's a long song, but it never gets repetitive. I always find something new to appreciate in the song. The entire musical composition fits together fantastically: the screams and semi-whispered parts are perfectly placed and compliment the singing, the lyrics match the feel of the song very well, the guitar and drums add to the song perfectly, and the entire song shows RJA's masterful composition skills. Their use of crescendos also give the song a strong, emotional feel. Especially at the bridge at 5:50, where it just builds and builds, starting with guitar, then the drums adding an almost tribal feel, and the singing "woah"s adding to the haunting feel of the entire piece. It's one of the few songs that I could listen to over and over again and still be mesmerized. And that is why Grim Goodbye will always be my favorite song by RJA.

My Favorite RJA song has to be Seventeen Ain't So Sweet. That song helped me become stronger, and helped me realize that it is okay to stand up for what I believe is right, and not always have to follow other's oppinions. Lyrically, it just spoke out to me. Meanwhile instrumentally, I loved it from start to finish.

mines is waiting because i love the harmony in the chorus and verses and its so catchy and addicting and its also one of the first songs ive ever heard by them and got me to listen to other songs by them so without that song i probably would have never even checked out RJA so that song is very dear to me ad its my fav. song in the whole wide world
