Hello Alliance Members!

As some of you know, I am a part of The RJA touring crew. I've been thinking of a way to bring light to the mystery of life on the road, and for the next few upcoming tours I'm planning on having a roadie newsletter available at the merchandise table.
Of course the periodical will include information for our web store and the alliance site, but one of my key goals is to focus on the crew members themselves.

Ever wonder what goes on inside the venue while you're waiting in line outside?
How did they get such cool jobs?
What's it like to work with one of the best bands - EVER?!??
I'd like to know what you guys think of the project, and questions like the ones above would make an awesome addition to the pamphlet. Let me know what you'd like to see included in the newsletter. Don't be shy - include any photos of you with the crew members, short stories about your interactions with them, and anything else you think would be fun to share! I look forward to seeing you all at an upcoming show, and thanks for all of your support!

Sincerely,
Staci Winter
Tour Merchandise Manager

I love this idea! This sounds like something I would love to read. And yes,I always wonder what it would be like to tour with THE BEST BAND EVER!!! Hell I've even thought of ways to be a stoweway on the bus...hahahah I'm so kidding.

what an awesome idea!! i think it's pretty cool that RJA even has this site for their fans/people involved with whatever. i think it'd be cool to see a section about people (different fans and/or fans-crew) who met online and then met in person at a show. ya know, RJA bringing awesome people (because you know only awesome people like this kinda music) together. definitely the behind the scenes kinda stuff would be rad cuz not many people really know what goes into putting on a concert tour and could also possibly get more people interested in the biz.
p.s. you rock, staci!!! wooooo!!!

I know this one guy...he is really forgiving when people interrupt his already busy schedule on tour with their list problems. That pretty much makes him an angel in my book =]

It's something I'm really looking forward to and I gotta say this is a great way to get the fans involved!

It would also be awesome to know what's it like to work with the band (which is the best band for me right now).

=)

I think it's an awesome idea! I don't know if many people realize how much the crew does! I think it would be neat to feature a different crew member in each newsletter with like a little Q&A(What exactly do you do? How did you become a crew member? What's your favorite part of being a crew member? What do you dislike(if anything)? etc.. & maybe some questions from the fans!)

I'm sure I'll probably have more input if anything else comes to mind!

Take Care! Scarlet<33

I think that sounds like an awesome idea. yeah those are questions i (very) often think about. being a roadie would have to be the 2nd coolest job in the world (ESPECIALLY for RJA) , next to actually being in the band lol. I definately like the question how'd they get their jobs. I think you've got basics pretty well covered. maybe something like their relationships with the band, like are they friends? do they get to hang? or do they even know them that well? (not yours of course, i think we all know the connection there haha).
But great idea, you should run with it.
hope to meet you at a show someday!
