The first one i learned was good riddance by green day on acoustic guitar. SImple enough. Next was Swing Swing by all american rejects on electric. This too easy. Then I got into metal and started learning more complex riffs..............fun ones like Bullet for My Valentine and RJA ones too. My band does a sweet cover of facedown

Whoa dude slow down too many is too perfect but that's really cool coz I luuuuuv All american rejects... Can we play r&b with a rap in a guitar for once.lol Mine was a christian song, "Power of Love" it was our group activity in my highschool music subject and I am bound to play it. I studied guitar playing for almost 2 weeks by myself with some old chordbook...proud of it yeah but my fingers sored for days. Poor baby.=) then I started playing "Sway" by bic runga.

The first song i ever really learned- the whole thing through- was when i come around by green day - probably the easiest first song you could learn. I think that was on my 13th birthday. lol
